My lips moved against the cool wind to murmur the word I loved most. Sky.
I flexed my tan colored wings. The wind beating them like a mixer mixing batter felt like a good relief from the scorching sun. Am I strange for having wings? Yes. Am I strange because I understand pokemon? Yes. Am I strange because I use these things in everyday life? No. Using my strange abilities to help humans, animals, and pokemon is quite a good deed, done by a strange person or not. I gave a sigh and let go of my train of thought when I heard a high pitched squeal from behind. My Gliscor, Crunch, was messing with my Skarmory, Sly. I made some notions to Cooper, my best friend; partner; and first pokemon, my Pidgeot. Cooper turned to my nervous Mothim, Mo. Mo immediately used psychic on the two quarreling pokemon. They were sent to the ground and became dazed. I gave a thumbs up to Mo, who was relieved to get praise instead of a scolding. I dove down towards the ground, but came up and made a perfect landing along with the other two pokemon following me. I walked up to the two frustrated flying pokemon lying on the ground. I gave a laugh and patted them on the head.
"We're supposed to make friends when we're on the same team. Crunch, you're the second oldest pokemon and I want you to be careful when you're flying. Respect space because if you two got to caught up in fighting and got badly hurt, how do you think I would feel? The team needs you and so do I." Crunch jumped up and started circling my head, giving out frequently apologies. His apologies weren't going to prevent the punishment though. The two both new all too well of this drill. I placed them in there pokeballs. Mo finally flew up from behind me and settle itself on the shoulder, while Cooper flew above laughing it's beak off. I sighed and started walking. After this incident, I was getting tired. I am usually only around pokemon, flying in the sky above the mountains or fields. Today I was in the fields and I seek real human interaction or my other big dream is to get a pokemon egg and take care of it. I new that dream was trash considering the chances. Picking up speed, I walked through the grass, praying for a human.

notes: I'd rather have a real human than a mod, but if this inactive for three days, a mod is fine. |

She was in Hoenn again. It was like her home away from home... away from home. Technically Cure's real home away from home was the battle frontier where she was constantly training. In her free time though after her hard core training sessions, Hoenn was her home away from home. She sighed and stroked the feathers of her Honchkrow. Elly looked at her trainer with curious eyes. They hadn't trained at all that week and it was becoming quite strange. The Elite had planned on going to the battle frontier that day but for some reason while flying Fizza they went to Hoenn instead. It didn't really matter, it would give the team a chance to train with wild Pokemon and hopefully maybe a trainer or two. Truthfully, the trainer needed to work with her small little Lea so that the Nincada could join the team and go for the hard core battles.
Cure lifted her arms behind her head and relaxed. "I guess it's time that we find a Pokemon right?" Elly let out a small caw in agreement before starting forward. It was the cold of the winter that was making Cure act so strange. She ended up this way every mid-winter when barely any trainers challenged the Elites. It was getting boring sitting around the HQ like a potato and training didn't sound like fun just because there wasn't a battle that was coming up. Another week or two of the strange mood would fix the hardcore Elite.
Sighing she glanced around looking for some sort of Pokemon or trainer. Her pale green tank top rubbed against her armpit, making it itch for a moment. Twisting her face in displeasure, Cure scratched the strange place before dropping her hand into the pocket of her dark washed shorts. She looked to the sky and noticed a flock of Pokemon traveling together. It wasn't a swarm, no, it was something better than that. It was a trainer. "Elly let's go follow them!" Cure shouted rather excitedly as she thought about battling a trainer with flying Pokemon. It wasn't long before the pair was in the air and weaving closer to the flock of mismatched Pokemon. Some sort of commotion happened with the Pokemon and two fell to the ground before the rest landed. The Elite was too far away to see what actually happened but she could tell it wasn't good.
"Head on down," was said rather unnecessarily because the large bird had begun to fly down on her own. They landed about a hundred yards away and sat for a moment, looking for the trainer. It appeared that there wasn't one for a bit until Cure found the strange human being. There in the field was a Pokemorph. She had only heard legends of these strange creatures and here she was meeting one herself! With a new found energy and excitement Cure ran forward, waving her arms trying to catch the trainers attention. "Hi! Hey! My name is Cure!" She called out when she got close enough. What a great trip this was turning out to be!

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true] [atrb=style,width:440px; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/j7kH1.png),bTable]loose ends they tangle down and then take flight, but never tie us down NEVER TIE US DOWN My blissful evening ruined by another pokemon who wanted to say hello. Wait, no. That's wrong this time. I heard a name and pokemon usually have no name unless they have a trainer. I spun around, my tail feathers peeked out from the back of my strange dress. My messy blond and red hair flipped with the wind and ended up back in it's usual place. I flapped my wings with excitement. A regular human who wasn't afraid of me. They weren't laughing either.
Like a five year old child excited to see their father come home from work, I clumsily ran over with a big smile. Cooper on the other hand looked quite dumbfounded that I'd be so excited over a normal human. I spread my wings and cheered with happiness.
"Hi there! I'm Pecha! Call me P. if you want! I'm so happy I've finally met someone who isn't laughing! I feel so happy!" My wings spread out and I spun into the air with Mo clinging to my shoulder. I swooped back down with Cooper following behind me.
"Anyways, I'm a traveling Hoenn ranger. I help keep pokemon safe from stealing thieves. This means I protect wild and captured! It's how I can serve normally, putting my abilities to use!" |
I squealed with a cheeky smile. Mo flew up and sat himself on my head. He let out a few nervous squeaks. "If it's not trouble, can we have a triple battle? I need to practice with my Gliscor, Yanmega, and this little fella on my head. I have all my gym badges from Hoenn, but I never wanted to go against Elite Four members, so practice battling with one should be a big help!" I pulled out two pokeballs and threw them. Crunch and Versal came out. Versal flew up to my shoulder while my Gliscor stared at the Honchkrow with a battle hungry stare. I laughed and gave shrug. "Yanyan, yanmega!" <Let's do this!>"Mo-moth, moth mothim mothim..." <Al-alright, I need strength...>"GLISCOR GLI GLIGLI!" <YOU'RE GOING DOWN!> I snickered at they're enthusiasm. Although Crunch's reply did worry me. [/div] words: #### tags: Cure. notes: I love triple battles<3
