So Pokemorphs are a common thing throughout most Pokemon human roleplays, and are usually humans with Pokemon characteristis. Such as, a Pidgeotto Pokemorph can have wings that grow from their back, and their hair might be similar to the feathers a Pidgeotto has atop their head via coloring or even length. A Ninetails Pokemorph could have the red eyes of a Ninetails, as well as ears atop their head and the tails a Ninetails have, however without the cursing it could bring. It all depends on the morph and how they were created/born.
Along with looking partly like a Pokemon, a Pokemorph can also have abilities that come with their 'other half.' A Pidgeotto morph could have the ability to fly, however it depends on how strong their wings are, and who their parents were or how they were born. They might not be able to carry someone on their back, of course. A Ninetails morph could have the ability to dish out certain moves, such as Will-O-Wisp, however it depends on how much they've trained. It all depends on how they were trained and whatnot.
All Pokemorphs come from different places, however there are two common ways as to how they came about. One rather commonly used way is that they were created in a lab. Some might have been 'test tube babies,' and been infused with Pokemon genetics before they were big enough to even be considered a child or have the ability to be born, whereas some might have been infused with Pokemon genetics after they were 'born,' meaning they could have been infused anywhere from newborn to even a young adult, and older. The other, less common way, is that both of their parents were Pokemorphs, and they were born from them, having taken the form of only one of the parent's 'other half.'
When it comes to understanding Pokemon, this is where they came from comes into play. If they were created in a lab, then more than likely, it depends on how the scientists there created them and how they were trained, if at all. More than likely, those created in a lab are unable if not cannot fully understand Pokemon, though those who can cannot do so fully. Those who were naturally born as a Pokemorph may or may not be able to, depending on their parents, although they have a better chance of doing so than those created in a lab.
When it comes to evolution, as of currently, Pokemorphs do not have the ability to do so. Many who have been created have been created to stay in their current form, or have no known way to evolve, and those who were naturally born usually take on one of the parent's Pokemon sides, thus, many are already evolved when they are born.
Although Pokemorphs are counted as different in many parts of the world, they still take on different jobs throughout the world, from trainers, breers, co-ordinators, different civilian jobs, elite four members and gym leaders [although they are rare in this sort of job] to even parts of evil organazations!
