She had to take control, he said. She had to do it. It wasn't her style, not really at all, but she would consider what Giovanni had said for quite a long time.
Brittani thought for a second before nodding. "Hmm..." It was a simple, quiet murmur, and she was clearly deep in thought, though a little distressed. Nothing she couldn't handle, though.
The Zorua was adorable and made her feel a bit more calm, and made her smile as well. But before she realized what was happening, Giovanni was leaving. "It-It was nice meeting you too!" She called after him, realizing she was still wearing his coat and scarf, but he clearly didn't want them back. She looked down at the small book in her hand, and just as he was out of earshot she realized who he was.
She would definitely have to call him. She would return the favor somehow, someday. Hopefully.
Now she was left in the forest to make up her mind, and she ran a hand through her hair. What was she to do? It was not an easy choice, and she was still unsure if she could even make one or not in the first place. Her mind was reeling, and she was unable to focus, so she pulled out the Pokeball to Sal, and the Salamence greeted her with a yawn. Brittani jumped onto his back and murmured into his ear that their trip would be home, and the journey a long, solitary one, giving her plenty of time to think over what had been said.
Brittani was pretty sure as she took off into the sky, that she had made a friend today, if not just a confidante. She double-checked that she still had the number, sighed, and continued her long flight back to Sinnoh, where she knew two different paths awaited her.
