APPERANCE: Yui got most of her genes from her father. She’s tall, just above average height, standing at 5’8”. She has long blond hair that flows far beneath her butt. In broad daylight it will sometimes shimmer white and if it’s wet then it appears to be a dirty blond. Her bangs are long and hang down in her face most of the time. There are two clumps of hair that are too long to be bangs and too short to be with the rest of her hair so these she often keeps in a braid. She has a very petite figure and because of this is often making her own clothes to wear so that she doesn’t have to deal with the strange sometimes non-existent sizes. Then there are her eyes. They mingle between a light blue and an indigo most of the time but there are points when they decide that they want to be bright blue or indigo.
Next is Yui’s fashion… Even though she makes her own clothes, they are often based off of designs she sees in stores. She loves to wear pleated skirts, mis-matched socks, black shirts and a large assortment of jewelry. She loves her white shoes that come up and hug her shins. Her favorite types of shirts are those that are loose and flow in the breeze. Her contest outfits on the other hand are much more uniform. She keeps her feet without socks but instead in strappy high heels that go just above her ankles. She wears dresses and tries to keep the jewelry to a minimum. Regardless, even though she dresses normal for her contests, she’d much rather be in her strange every day clothing.
PERSONALITY: Yui isn't the kindest of people when it comes to... well, anything. She'd much rather treat everyone with a cold shoulder rather than be friendly with them. She puts up with social interaction though, knowing it's a part of everyone's daily life. Often times she'll come off as annoyed and disinterested no matter what she is feeling towards you. Even with her friends she remains distant. Though if she were to completely honest with people, she doesn't mind those who are humble and kind. She much rather would prefer some peppy nice child than an annoying rich adult who thinks that they are better than everyone else.
While the teenager might not like people, she loves her connection with her Pokemon. She enjoys everything about being with a Pokemon, the fact that they can form a bond of undying love with their trainer. Even the part where they are so in-sync with the world amazes her. She loves psychics the most because of the fact that when there is such a strong bond between a psychic and it's master they begin to speak telepathically. She doesn't like to see her Pokemon get her either. She doesn't want anything to ruin the bond between them which is why she tries to avoid fighting at all costs. Other than that, everything about Yui is basically loving nature and all that it holds.

HISTORY: Yui was born in the late spring when the flowers were in full bloom and the temperature was just right. Her parents owned a restaurant out in the country together and allowed many Pokemon to wander in and out with their trainers. When she wasn't out wandering in the fields she was sitting at the restaurant listening to the travelers share their stories. She met plenty of trainers but also those who were in it for beauty and those who were creating life. She would sit in awe and image herself taking on all of those adventures. She told her pregnant mother that she one day wanted to become a trainer and travel the world like the people who came to eat.
That winter Kurou entered the family. Yui helped take care of her little brother while also helping out at the restaurant as much as she could. She would tell those story-tellers her dreams of becoming a trainer until the day she met the outgoing coordinator. The man told her all about the beauty and glory of raising a Pokemon for contests and her dream changed. She wanted to win all of the contests that she could. Many of the adults that listened to her dream told her that it would be hard and she should just shoot for winning a contest in general. The people that ate crushed her dream. She slowly began to grow distant and wouldn't tell people about her dream. At night, once Kurou was older, she would talk to him about her dream. He would always encourage her and call her Koo Bear. She wanted to wait until her brother turned ten before she set off on her journey so that they could go together but her father told her to leave while she was still young and had plenty of energy. So with that she left and went to the research lab to get her first Pokemon.
