Max is a rather outgoing and nice person, who can generally get along with just about anyone who is nice and everyone who is the same to him. He doesn't mind a few battles here and there, and is currently trying to get better at becoming a breeder as well, although he might need some help with it. What he doesn't like is anyone who likes stealing Pokemon, abusing them, or otherwise doesn't respect or treat others well. He isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in, and can be a rather valuable ally when he needs to be.
Weather they be friend, foe, lover, or whatever, feel free to post it down below and we'll talk about it.

So... I see you've got an Arcanine, I've got an Arcanine. Wanna race? Pretty much how the whole thing would go down seeing as he's got a pretty well balanced and trained team so I'm assuming the two could get along as well as Hazel forming a sort of friendly kid-brother type way. I dunno, I gave it a shot.

That actually sounds quite interesting. Max wouldn't mind having a fun race with his Arcanine, and since Hazel seems like a nice person, they'd get along just fine. Plus, he's willing to help people and Pokemon alike, so maybe on some of her missions, he could tag along? He's an only child, so he wouldn't mind having an older sibling type person in his life.

How about the two meet up in some large city holding the annual pokemon race or something? Let them enjoy the competition but have them pull out at the end. Most likely Max will when by a hair, considering his pokemon is a wee bit more leveled than Hazel's. Naturally she'll congratulate him and swoon over his lovely Arcanine.
Think that would work?
