Brittani smiled, flicking the lights on to the place she may as well call home. Lights flashed on everywhere, illuminating every crevice of the canyon-like area. She had realized, as she brought Janell to her slice of the league, that she had left Dragonite there, so she had no choice but to go back and show Janell this place instead of her actual home.
Dragonite lay on top of the highest boulder in the arena, snoring softly. Her eyes were shut, and her tail wagged back and forth slightly. "What do you think?" Brittani wanted Janell to be amazed, and be in awe, but she had a feeling that wouldn't happen. She was really the only person who was practically in love with the room. But that was probably because she spent so much time in it.
A yawn interrupted Brittani's words, however, and Dragonite slowly sat upright. She glanced at her and Janell before stretching her wings and soaring down from the high place and landing right in front of them, a cheeky grin on her muzzle.
"Now, now, be nice," Brittani said, giving the dragon a look. Axew scrambled up Dragonite as she said it, nearly clawing Dragonite's face, who snorted in fake anger. The baby pokemon sat on Dragonite's head, quite comfortable.
Brittani turned to Janell as the two wandered off to the small pond for a little water, and she smirked. "Pretty cool, right?" She was being a total show-off. But she wanted someone to truly appreciate the place where she spent most of her time. Which clearly wouldn't ever happen. WORD COUNT. ▷ 268 words. Janell stood with her eyes wide open. She couldn't believe it she was actually in Evergrand City where those who are strong enough come to challenge the Elite Four. Her mouth hung open in awe when she saw the Dragonite. "It's.... it's.... it's amazing," she whispered wanting to run up to the Dragonite but held herself back. "This place is so cool it's perfect. I can't believe this is your place in Evergrand City."
Janell laughed softly at the way the Axew climbed it's way up Dragonite and onto it's head. Axew was so cute. One day she wanted one but even more than an Axew she really wanted a Deino. She had met one once and had falling in love with the dragon breed. "Pretty cool no.....awesome totally awesome."

After all, Janell was probably already tired from the rip over there, and a bit shocked after the day's events. But what she got was much better than a yawn and a giggle. The girl was completely mesmerized, which made Brittani laugh. Dragonite and Axew were playing together after their drink, and Brittani fought a losing battle with herself. She pulled out her remaining pokemon to show Janell.
One by one came Hydreigon, Salamence, Garchomp, and Altaria. Each yawned and stretched, a bit confused as to why they were still at the stadium when they were told that they had the day off.
"Janell, these are my friends Hydreigon, Sal, Garchomp, and Ali." Brittani gestured to each in turn, who were barely paying attention in the first place. They went after the other two pokemon after a moment, waking up quickly.
"I know I didn't mean for us to stay here long, but I suppose we can stay a bit if you like." Brittani grinned simply, waiting for Janell's response. It was a lot for the little girl to take in, certainly. "But if you want to go home..." She trailed off, taunting the girl playfully, but only slightly. WORD COUNT. ▷ 207 words. Janell let out an excited scream when she saw the Hydreigon and ran up to it and hugged it. "Your the evolved form of Deino right. Oh Deino's are the coolest dragon types in the world. I've wanted a Deino ever since I met one when I was six. Since than I've read everything I could get my hands on about the breed. And someday I'm gonna have one maybe I'll even battle you with it someday." She smiled up at the Hydreigon.
Janell turned and looked at Brittani. "This place is really cool and your pokemon are awesome. I can tell they feel pretty much at home here. But I bet they would love to go home and relax. Right Hydreigon?" She asked looking up at the dragon type and smiling.

❝ Which way is right, which way is wrong? How do I say that I need to move on? ❞ Tags: Janell/Silver | Notes: I'm much happier with this than I thought I would be. | Words: 281 Brittani's Pokemon seemed to like Janell, they weren't paying too much attention to her, but they weren't angry that she was in their little sanctuary.
But all of a sudden, Janell flung her arms around Brittani's strongest Pokemon, Hydreigon. The Elite grinned as she praised the Pokemon. Hydreigon was soaking it all up happily, three heads bobbing up and down slightly. It made Brittani laugh, and she saw the other Pokemon looking in their direction, a few visibly jealous of the attention. She had a feeling that sooner or later they would get similar treatment, whether they liked it or not.
Brittani noticed a small droop to Janell's eyes, and she smirked. "Alright, hold on then." She called all of her team back to their Pokeballs, even Axew, who put up a bit of a fight, but went in nonetheless. She ran a hand through her ruffled hair after the small ordeal, grateful he wasn't as rough as he normally was in front of their new family member.
It took a minute for her thought to sink in.
Their new family member.
Brittani would no longer be truly alone. She had someone to be by her side all the time. No matter what happened at work, at home, with her friends, she knew Janell would be there, and she would be there for her as well. They would be their own little family.
She offered her hand to the little eight-year-old girl, pushing the button to lock the roof, making sure nothing could get in during the night, and opening the front door, almost forgetting to grab the keys sitting on a nearby ledge.
Maybe Janell could help her get organized.

Janell watched as each of the pokemon disappeared. She was sad to see the Hydreigon into a poke'ball. It was by far her favorite of the pokemon. Axew was the cutest but she had always dreamed of getting a Deino and raising it so it eventually evolved into a Hydreigon. "Where do you live Brittani? How will we get there?" She asked before taking Britt's hand and leaving the building. She had forgotten her doll in the room. She was so excited about the pokemon it wasn't even on her mind.
She swung her arm back and form as they walked humming softly to herself."How did you get so many dragon types Brittani?" She just had to know this way she could eventually catch a Deino.

❝ Which way is right, which way is wrong? How do I say that I need to move on? ❞ Tags: Silver/Janell | Notes: This was all over the place. -_- | Words: 533 Janell's interest in Hydreigon was a bit intriguing for Brittani, and it certainly made her happy. They could relate, she realized, very easily. At this rate, they would be best friends by tomorrow morning.
As they walked, Brittani stifled a laugh as Janell asked multiple questions.
"Well, I live mainly in the apartments nearby, which is where we're walking, but my real house is in Floaroma Town. It gets a bit lonely though." She shrugged, figuring she wouldn't mention that she normally lived a lonely lifestyle, by herself most of the time, and barely any communication with people other than her fellow Elite Four, and that wasn't by choice. Well, except for the occasional chat with Goro -- Oi, she couldn't think about that now! She would probably end up telling Janell sometime soon anyway.
"But the apartments are just a hop, skip and a jump from here."They walked out of the front door and towards the apartments, and Brittani smiled to the girl as she asked another question.
"Well, it wasn't easy. It took a lot of time and luck, more specifically patience." She shrugged. "Maybe I could show you a bit of those skills later this week." She wouldn't necessarily find a Dragon type, but a Pokemon nonetheless for Janell to have as a companion when Brittani was busy.
Brittani had a feeling that Janell would be someone to confide in for her. She wouldn't give out her secrets, she seemed too sweet for that. She was adorable, that was for sure, and seemed like the type of person that loved to talk about girly things with someone for hours on end. Which she could use.
They soon arrived at the apartment, and Brittani turned her pink key into the lock. "Now, I have the guest room all made up for you, but we can decorate it to your liking maybe tomorrow. Because I didn't know who would be coming home with me today, y'know? It's a little... Pokemon themed though." Brittani smirked. She led the way into the room where Janell would be staying, and flicked on the lights.
The wallpaper was a plain eggshell, with posters of different Pokemon, with seemingly and surprisingly no type preference. There were a few larger posters, though, some being a Roserade, Medicham, and Hydreigon. There were so many different Pokemon on the walls, it seemed like all of the different species were there. Realizing what question Janell would ask next, Brittani added, "Three hundred different Pokemon. I didn't know what type you would like, so I just chose randomly." She laughed at her silliness, realizing she had drastically overdone it. "I have the rest somewhere, if you want them. And we can redo much of the room if you want." She scratched her neck anxiously.
If Janell were to look into her bedroom, it would be similar, only with a pale rose backdrop and every single dragon type instead of random Pokemon. It was home, that was for sure.
"So, do you want dinner? Or I could leave you to get settled if you like." She ought to leave the girl be for a bit, she would obviously be a bit overwhelmed.

Janell yawned it had been a long day and she was beginning to get hungry and a little tired. But she was to excited to sleep just yet. "When will I be able to see the home in Flouroma Town? Do you go there often," she asked curiously.
Though she had to admit she was glad the apartments where so close she had gone through so much today and she just wanted to relax and get to know Brittani and her pokemon and maybe play with Axew some.
When Brittani offered to show her how she caught and trainer her pokemon her eyes widened and she gave a little squeal of excitement. "Really that would be so neat to learn from the best."
Janell got excited again when she was told her room was pokemon themed. "Cool I hope there are lots of dragon types. Dragon types are the best." She wanted to hurry up and check out her room. Her back pack wasn't very heavy for she didn't have much just a few pairs of clothes. Orphans don't have much unless they where taking from their families if that was the case they got to bring anything they wanted from their old life. It was than that she remembered that she had left Janet in the gym they had just left. But she was sure it would be ok until later or tomorrow even. "Brittani I left Janet in the gym will she be ok in their until tomorrow?"
At the mention of dinner Janell's stomach growled loudly. "Dinner sounds really good right about now."
