He had heard before that this forest was teeming with wild bug and grass type Pokemon, and, knowing that Spite's ember could easily take down any one of those types of Pokemon, it would be nice to get at least some training done here. Besides, what harm could he be doing in training for a little while? Not a thing, really, unless one of those annoying bug catchers came along and decided to try and battle him. Then both of them might be in for some big trouble; the bug catcher more than anything, really. The young man couldn't help but smirk at the thought, really; wouldn't mind mugging a few of those worthless pip-squeaks, even though they probably didn't have a lot of cash on them to begin with.
It was getting late, the sun slowly setting over the horizon. It was getting a bit colder, too, although Alex didn't mind; as long as he had his jacket with him, he wouldn't freeze. A lot of the wild Pokemon had perhaps already gone into hiding due to the need for sleep at such an hour, however Alex knew that it wouldn't be long before he found some sort of wild Pokemon lurking around here somewhere. Spite trotted next to him as they got further into the woods, occasionally turning his head to sniff the air and see if he could find anything. With the way he had been acting, it seemed as if there wasn't much to find here, really. They would just have to keep searching though, wouldn't they? After all, they really couldn't go stealing Pokemon and the likes without getting better at battling, and getting stronger so that he would evolve.
And, who knew. Maybe they would find a few new accomlises around in these woods to help them on their adventures. But then again, but types really couldn't do as much as any other Pokemon could, now could they? As far as Alex knew, not really.

  A Wild Venonat Appeared!Ability | Tinted Lens (Doubles the effect of "Not very effective" moves) Moves | Skill Swap | Tackle | Disable | Supersonic Big red eyes watched creatures from behind a bush. It suddenly jumped out. It is me, the amazing Venonat which no other bug pokemon can compete with do to my special move. I scuttled over to the trainer and it Houndour. I let out a sharp battle call and got into position, my eyes flaming with determination.
"Veno! Ven Veno Venonat!" I called to the canine pokemon.

At first, Alex thought that he wasn't really going to be anything in these damned woods, however Spite's growling as the canine like Pokemon paused in it's tracks to turn and leer at something made the young man stop in his tracks. Raising an eyebrow, Alex turned his head, keeping his body faced forward. His hands were in his pockets now, however they clenched up as his made a rather grimacing face.
"Oh great," he said with a groan, turning to the fluff ball of a Pokemon that had leap out at them. "Well, no use in letting it slip by, I guess. Hey Spite, use Ember on it, would ya?" Alex didn't look too happy at the fact that it was Venonat, although he couldn't really complain much. A few battles were what they were looking for, wasn't it?
The Houndour seemed rather egar, lurching forward before opening his mouth and releasing several embers from his mouth and towards the Venonat.

I had gained the other pokemon's ability. I had used Skill Swap why the other pokemon was busy using it's ember. Testing this I let few of the ember burn into my flesh. When I felt nothing I realized I had swapped and gotten flash fire. I grinned evilly as the rest of the attack hit me and let me gain more energy.
"Veno~~nat!" I let out large yellow pulse waves from my body as I started using Supersonic. Fire pokemon always think they're so great and evil. News flash, I just out smarted one and used it's so called winning move to heal myself.

Well that was just great. The freaking Venonat used Skill Swap to have Spite's Flash Fire. Ah, well, at least he had Thunder Fang to try and defeat the Venonat. And if the dual type Pokemon had Tinted Lense, then the attack would have some sort of effect on the wild Pokemon. At least, a better effect than it currently had on it.
Spite seemed rather ready for the next oncoming attack; easily taking a leap over the super sonic the bug had launched at him and landing on all fours a few feet in front. The Houndour then leered at the wild Pokemon, before launching forward and opening his jaw, his teeth suddenly being charged with a lot of electricity as he tried to bite down on the wild Pokemon.
[ PS, you know Flash Fire doesn't heal a Pokemon, it just ups your Fire type moves, right? ]
