Food? The bird type Pokemon cocked it's head again as the girl walked up to the tree and pulled out some food from her bag. Food sounded nice right now; a lot of people walking through here had scared off a lot of the bug type Pokemon, as well as making others resort to eating berries that grew around the area. She hadn't been able to get to much since she was so small and couldn't really fight others for food just yet, so it made her resort to the pickings left by the others who had had their fill.
The bird seemed to look around her, as if making sure no one else was around to surprise her, before swooping down to the nearest boulder to the girl. "Starly?" it asked as it hoped from side to side on it's rock.

Artemis smiled at the tiny Pokemon as it hopped around. "Come on, now. We won't hurt you." She scooped a handful of the Pokefood out and set it on the rock the Starly landed on. Artemis took this opportunity to kneel down next to the boulder, getting a good look at the Starly. It was a little thing, and looked excited at the food. "Look at you...It looks like you haven't eaten in days. Why...Why don't you come home with me I won't make you fight, you'll be around other Pokemon, and you'll get three full meals a day." She smiled brightly as she spoke, pulling yet another Pokeball out of her bag. She simply held it out to the Starly, letting the tiny Pokemon make its decision. She only hoped that it would come with her. All she wanted to do was take care of the poor thing.

Eating three times a day? That sure sounded like a lot. Then again, she probably ate more when there was food around, due to a bird's tendency to fly around so much and then always using up so much energy. It seemed to take the little bird a moment to think it over, looking from the girl, to the Pokeball, and then the Pokemon beside her. They hadn't tried to attack her yet, so they must be nice, right? And they hadn't done anything to scare her, either.
Hoping forward to get closer to the girl, the Starly nodded to her happily.

Artemis couldn't help but grin with the tiny Pokemon nodded its head. She was going to get a Starly! And a cute one at that! She could not have been happier as she bopped the button of the Pokeball against the Starly's beak, watching the bright light come out before entrapping the Pokemon. She set the ball down on the boulder then, giving the Starly one last chance to leave if it wanted to.
Stella watched on nervously, it would be nice to have another friend to play with, plus, from what Artemis had said, the help would be much appreciated on the Ranch. Both owner and Pokemon stared on at the Pokeball, waiting to see what would happen.

Artemis couldn't help but squeal with happiness when the Pokeball went still. She gave a bright giggle before she attached the ball to her belt. "You won't regret this, Sky." She grinned brightly, liking the fact that she came up with the nickname almost as soon as she caught the Pokemon. She looked down to her Shinx, then, who was staring at the town gates. "Well, Stella. Let's get home." She then took off running, the Shinx following right behind. They ran all the way until they found the man who was going to take them home. Sadly, she had to put Stella back in her Pokeball before they could take off, but Artemis was excited. She was finally going home!
