New friend

Evan walked in, his head held high. Two pokeball hung from the belt around his waist. He walked up to the counter.

"Hello. I am here for a Pachuricu, I have the money required." I placed my money on the table. I loved cute pokemon, plus I was urged by my foster mother to come here and save a pokemon so, ya know I can't fight that women. I looked at the lady at the front desk.

"Yes, I am a registered pokemon trainer who is eligible by Professor Rowan's word." I placed my pokedex on the counter to prove it. I smiled and opened it. It said aloud my name, home town, and age. I placed it back in my messenger bag. I clicked my tongue and tapped my fingers lightly.

From behind a desk, a young woman sat, reading a book. A little Patrat sat next to her, playing with some toys as she did so. When the boy entered and spoke, she looked up, obviously surprised for a moment, before smiling. The Patrat just seemed confused, tilting his head at the boy for a moment before going back to his toys. Meanwhile, the girl put a bookmark in the book, and silently looked over the Pokedex when the boy gestured it to her. Not that she really needed to see it, but it was always great to know that a trainer was coming to pick up a Pokemon here from the acres.

"One moment, please," she said in a sing-songy voice, slipping off of her chair and dissapearing to the back. Her Patrat seemed to take no notice of that. A few moments later, the woman returned with a Pokeball hand. "Here she is," she said as she gestured the Pokeball to the boy, using her free hand to slid the money towards her. "Hope you take good care of her!"

Many believe that she is on something, however [NAME] is just the type of Pokemon who doesn't like to settle down. She likes the high life, and likes to be fast and not get caught. Sometimes [NAME] will steal coffee or candy or stuff to make her even [i]more[/i] hyper, in which case it's really hard stopping her there. In battles, [NAME] will use her speed in order to outrun the opponent before they catch her; she has a poor defense, and just a few hits will knock her out very quickly. So really, this speed comes to [NAME] as an advantage.
