She has no scars, physically anyways, and no distinguishing marks that sets her apart from anyone else. Artemis has long, brown hair, which she usually keeps in pig tails and tied back with a bandanna, or headband. She is a slender girl, but has some muscle to her from all of her work on the ranch. She usually wears bright colored shirts and black overalls, along with tennis shoes. When she's away from the ranch, she'll wear a light blue thin strapped dress with flower clips in her hair. The only odd thing about this girl, is that her eyes are a dark shade of pink. For anyone looking at her they would think that she was much younger than she actually is. Other than friendship, she is only really outspoken when it comes to a cause she believes in. She'll stand her ground and fight for what's right, no matter the cost. Of course, she will stand down if it means her friends or partners are in danger. She is strong willed and very driven, always wanting to do her best when it comes to the ranch and her friends. She never wants to let anyone down, and if she does, she will be downtrodden for weeks, if not longer, until she gets back into the groove of work. Artemis is sort of a perfectionist, but only when it comes to other peoples work. Artemis has one elder brother, Helio, that was in charge of her when their parents were busy. When Artemis was 11, old enough to take care of herself and help more around the ranch, Helio left to pursue his dreams of being a star Pokemon Coordinator. After her brother left, Artemis became more determined. She wanted to make her brother proud by keeping the ranch alive, even when her parents got sick from the poison spores of a corrupt Trainer's Gloomish and business got slow. She worked as hard as she could, for a 13 year old, anyways. She kept the pens clean, the Pokemon fed, and the babies warm, all while she made sure her parents were taken care of. When her mother passed, everything changed. At the age of 14, Artemis had to learn the business side of the ranch from her father, who could barely talk in his ill health. Thankfully, Helio returned to the farm for the funeral, and agreed to help his little sister for a while. He taught her the basics, everything that she would need to know to help keep the business afloat. He stayed with her for a whole year, until the death of their father, before he returned to his dream. Artemis was left alone on the farm, with only one last gift from her brother. She awoke the morning to find a note left on her dresser. With sleepy eyes, she read the letter over and over again. Today is the first day of your life. You will make this place greater than it has ever been. I've always told you that no-one involved with Pokemon is complete until they do things properly. When you've done what you need to do, send me word. I have another gift for you. Love always, Helio. Artemis knew what she had to do, then, but first thing was first. She had to make sure everything was taken care of. It would take a long time, and she did not know when she was going to be able to make her brother proud. Today, Charity Ranch is still going strong.
