Everyone thought that everything would get better once every evil Team out there was finished and done for. However, that is not the case.
There has been talk in the underground of some sort of plot to take over the world. And to do it, all of the villains have started banning together to try and do a better job at it. And all the while, they're trying to keep it on the down-low as well. Not too many people outside their organizations know about it, and they'd be sure to shut them up if they did. Most of their current tactics include trying to take over buildings and large companies while maintaining a low profile, and going undercover to take people's Pokemon, or to take over Day Care centers and breeder's ranches in order to gain more Pokemon for their own good. They're supposed to be staying undercover, after all. There have been a few cases, of course, where they've had to use force, however some have been able to cover it up rather easily.
All of the current commanders of the each team are said to have rallied together in order to try to maintain everything, however there is still some tension between each individual group, both between each other and inside.
Some believers of this say that such a thing has been going on for a couple of years now, or even longer, although no one really knows why or how. Most just know that it's a rising threat to everyone, and that it must be stopped at call costs.
