The day had been, well, normal, to say the least. He hadn't ever been to Sinnoh much in his time as a Professor, so he decided to go ahead and find some time to get a good look around. He had stopped first at Sandgem Town to get some more supplies and rest, however after that, he went straight to exploring. Not that he could ever stop himself from doing that, of course. Everything about Pokemon fascinated him, and thus, it was hard to stay away from them for too long. Sure, he had his own Pokemon, however it was still nice to go out and observe wild Pokemon as well. They were all so different from those trainers caught or those born and raised around humans all of their lives. He sometimes wondered how different they actually were from one another, and what they thought of one another. Guess he would never find out too soon, really.
The morning was quite nice, and the man was sure it was sometime past ten or eleven o'clock when he finally made it out past the city limits of Sandgem. It was a nice little town, however he liked the outdoors better, as he said before. He would have chosen to camp out more than not, however, being unable to learn any camping or survival skills, he rarely did so without any human companionship. And that in itself was rare as it was. He could hear a few Starly and Pidgey chirping and fluttering around in the trees, and a few smaller Pokemon ran amoungst the tall grass in search of closure away from the human. No doubt, he would run into one that wanted to battle, however it wouldn't be too hard to flee or scare it off. The latter would probably be the best thing to do, as he wasn't a very good runner to being with. He really didn't want to test that theory anytime soon, either.
"Mur Murkrow Murkrow!" came the rather irritated cry of the bird on his shoulder. "Murkrow Mur, Krow Krow Murkrow Murkrow Mur!" Smiling and chuckling, the man patted the dual type Pokemon gently on his head.
"Oh, I know you don't like the daylight," the man seemed to coo to the bird. "But during the day is when all of the Pokemon come out, alright? I promise, when we're through, I'll let you go back in your Pokeball and we can go back to the Pokemon center."
"Krow...," the Murkrow glared, however the promise seemed enough for the small bird.
The man merely chuckled, now leaving the bird be and leaning over to pat an Umbreon that jogged next to him. The Pokemon slightly purred at the touch, putting her ears back and wagging her tail happily before focusing on the path ahead of them, as did her trainer. Her ears, which had oddly colored rings around them - being blue instead of yellow - twitched as she seemed to be listening closely for something. She was just overprotective sometimes, of course, so James thought nothing of it, for the moment. All he cared about was searching for Pokemon.
They just had to find some, of course.

Eris NightloveI don't want to hold you back. I can't change who I am. Eris had been walking some what fast. Piplup right by her side. She was jumping up and down. Eris knew why. They were going to see her father. The one person she loved the most. Other that her Pokemon of course but her dad taught her everything she knows. "Pip, piplup pip." <"come on slow down."> Eris could hear her Pokemon say. So Eris did she slowed down to a walking pace and soon realized why. There was a person with a Pokemon out. Eris knelt down to look at her Pokemon. "pip, pip pip pip." <"Who is that Eris?">. Eris shook her head. She didn't know. Eris tightened her jacket more around her because of the sudden chill. "guess we will find out." Eris told her as she got back up and walked over to the man.

"Breon?" asked the Umbreon as she heard voices. It seemed that Eona was the first to notice the trainer and Pokemon walking their way.
The trio had made a pause, James being sure that he found some type of paw prints belonging to a Pokemon of the sorts. Probably a Shinx, he had guessed, and, being the curious person that he was, had stopped to examine them and see if he could tell where they were heading off to. They looked old, however, and he wasn't sure it was worth following them. Shadow the Murkrow sat still perched on his trainer's shoulder, being able to stay on even though the man was crouched down and leaned over slightly. Eona had been standing next to her trainer, watching him calmly, however the sound of approaching footsteps had caught her attention. Looking to her oblivious trainer one more time, the Shiny Umbreon turned and moved away, trotting towards the on coming duo.
And thus, Shadow was the first to notice that Eona had left. The bird had looked up once at the sound of her trotting away, before having to do a double take. Was she actually leaving? How dare she do such a thing without informing their trainer! That was so uncalled for!
"Murkrow!" Shadow squawked loudly, flapping his wings in anger. Such a move startled his trainer into literally jumping to his feet, a hand racing to his heart in panic when he didn't see anything right away.
Panting, the man asked, "Dear Arceus, Shadow! Was that really neacassy?" In response, the little bird gestured towards where Eona once stood with his wing. It seemed to take a moment before James realized that the Pokemon had ran off. "Huh - Wha?" he barely managed, looking around frantically before his eyes landed on her. "Uh oh," he muttered as the Umbreon trotted up to the girl happily.
It wasn't that she was going to cause trouble; Eona was a rather good Pokemon. However, he would need a confrontation with the other person in order to get his Pokemon back. It wouldn't work well to try and send another Pokemon after her, as he once found out. He stood there for another moment, staring, before a thwack to the back of the head by Shadow made him grumble and trudge up, albeit rather slowly, to the girl as Eona greeted her happily.
