JUST THE BASICS full.name; Brittani Brandi Derosier nicknames; Brit; Brittani age; Twenty-one birthday; April 5th i.like.these; Dragon i.think.i.like; Boys (heterosexual) i'm.from; Floaroma Town, Sinnoh i.make.a.living.by; Elite Four member i.look.like; POKEMON, Jasmine, Brittani Derosier
DON'T JUDGE ME let.me.tell.you.what.i.look.like
Brittani stands at about four foot, nine inches. She weighs ninety four pounds, which is average for her height, but neither are average for her age, especially as she is done growing. Her build is rather straight and flat, and she's small basically everywhere. There are no real curves to her body. Brit normally stands straight, and is rarely seen slouching. Her walk is confident, though her strides are tiny. She tends to have a bit of a skip in her step at times as well.
Brittani is pretty pale, and burns easily. Her hair is a light brown, and reaches her hips. It's very thick, and Brittani does get frustrated with it from time to time, considering getting it cut. But she somehow always manages to talk herself out of it, despite her stubborn personality. She tends to like to try different styles with her hair, and messes around with it constantly. Her most recurring style is having it down with two hair clips, one on each side of her head, however. Her eyes are a light brown as well.
Clothing wise, Brit is very feminine and girly. She loves sun dresses. Her favorites have floral patterns, and are not plain colors. She is never seen without either a bow or a flower either in her hair or on her dress. Her favorite colors to wear are silver, white, and blue. She tends to wear some form of heels or high-tops often, as a result of her short stature. Word count. 250 words.
EVERYTHING'S INSIDE i.really.like;
Dragon Pokemon; This is the type that Brittani specializes in. She believes in offense as opposed to defense, and she likes the strength they have as opposed to some of the more graceful types.
Reading; It's her escape from the outside world.
Painting; Another exit from the real world, she can draw what she feels, and make a beautiful scene.
Dressing up; As her feminine clothing suggests, Brit loves to mess around with clothing, hair things and the like. but.i.don't.like;
Electric Type; As she is horribly scared of thunder and lightning, Brittani hates and is scared of electric pokemon.
Waiting; Brittani is very impatient.
Cooking; As good as she is at baking, she somehow is horrid at cooking. Baking is more of an art, while cooking is more lenient, which she has a hard time with. i'm.afraid.of;
Drowning; Brittani is a horrible swimmer. Whenever she ends up at the beach, she stays clear of the ocean, preferring to stay on the sand.
Thunder and Lightning; Whenever a storm rolls around, Brittani hurls herself indoors, frightened of the loud noises. She is used to handling things by herself, so she hides some place small and hopes for the best.
Therefore, she is also afraid of electric pokemon. and.of.course.i'm.not.normal;
Writes on herself; A very weird addiction, Brittani writes on herself whether it's to remember something, waste time, or just to doodle. She's tried to stop, too.
Has OCD; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Brittani is very organized, and can't focus in a messy room. someday.i.will;
Get Married; Brittani dreams of settling down with someone someday who really gets her and understands who she is.
Become famous for her artwork; Though art is a bit of a hobby, Brit has always dreamed of being a famous artist. if.i.had.to.sum.it.all.up;
Looking like a girly-girl has never been so deceiving.
Brittani looks like she should be starting a journey rather than be a highly respected member of the Elite Four. Because of this, many people underestimate her and treat her accordingly. She doesn't like it one bit.
Growing up in a quiet, busy family, Brittani was lonely. She learned how to handle herself most of the time, and always wants to do things by herself. She doesn't trust people easily, and is always skeptical of new people she meets and their intentions. She can simply be described as stubborn, through and through. Though she is stubborn, she's gentle and quiet most of the time. If she needs to make a point, Brit will come out of her shell and be harsh, but that side of her is rarely seen.
In summary, Brit is normally in a fight-or-flight mode. She thinks someone's always out to get her in a way.
In battle, Brittani is harsh and unforgiving. She is calculating and strategic, thinking everything through, and is never impulsive. She favors offense as opposed to defense. Brittani is nearly a different person to her pokemon. She is trusting and strong, defending and taking very good care of them. When people see the difference, they're very surprised and shocked. They realize that she just really needs a companion who understands her and looks to her as an equal.
Romance wise, Brittani is a hopeless romantic. She wants to feel special, because she's normally so isolated. But she doesn't someone to just woo her and think that's it. She wants a friend, someone who she can trust, because she doesn't normally have someone like that. Word Count. 281 words.
WHERE I COME FROM if.i.had.to.write.an.essay;
Brittani was born to your average two working parents. She was a normal, healthy baby, and her mother was on maternity leave for a year to watch her. But when the year was up, her mother had to go back to work, and her father was already rarely at home. There was constantly a baby-sitter in place of her mother or father, and there were only a few hours a day that Brittani and both her parents were home, many of which Brittani spent sleeping.
As the years stretched on, Brittani learned how to live with only herself to depend on, and on those rare occasions when her parents were home for a whole day, she would lock herself up in her room, reading or drawing. She didn't want anything to do with her parents anymore.
At the age of fourteen, Brittani had had enough. She wanted out of the house, out of the life that caused her so much loneliness. So she decided to go on a journey throughout Sinnoh, like many other girls and boys her age did. She chose the path of a trainer, challenging gyms and training her pokemon to live to their potential. She gained a fondness for the rare dragon pokemon when she saw a strong trainer flying by on a Flygon, and thought that that's what she wanted to do. She wanted to become a brave trainer that people could look up to, and be their inspiration.
Brittani had beaten all of the Sinnoh gyms by the time she was seventeen. She had taken her time training her Pokemon, making sure they knew their moves, and leveled exactly to where she wanted them to. She wouldn't challenge a gym that she knew she wouldn't be able to beat, unlike some impulsive young trainers.
She spent the next three years traveling around, endlessly training, claiming that she would soon challenge the Pokemon League's Elite Four and Champion. However, when she did, she found that with her heavily Dragon-influenced team, it was a bit hard to beat the trainers, no matter how hard she trained. She would leave, defeated, for a few months, and come back again, never changing her lineup.
It was at her fourth attempt that she made it to the Champion for the first time, and they took great interest in her. She lost the match by a sliver, but she was offered a position in the Elite Four as one of the members was retiring. Realizing this was what she was inspired to do that day she had seen the trainer and their dragon, Brittani accepted, and found where she wanted to be, and where she belonged. Word Count. 446 words.

A small, pale hand reached up and snatched a pink water bottle off the floor of a large, rocky room.
"Good job, Altaria," A soft voice murmured, as if talking to herself. But she wasn't alone. Surrounding the small brown-haired girl was three pokemon, standing proud, though looking slightly tired from most likely a long battle. Among them was the mentioned Altaria, who was panting, elevated, sitting on a particularly large boulder. "Take a rest, you three." Three flashes of light were seen as the dragon pokemon were returned to their respective pokeballs.
"H-hello? Are you Brittani Derosier?" A stuttering male voice came from the automatic doors across the room. The girl's head shot up from looking in her bag, and groaned audibly. The kid didn't sound any older than maybe thirteen, and Brittani was tired of challengers that just honestly weren't ready.
"I am." She hopped over to the boy, a fake smile plastered onto her face. "What can I do for you?"
And then it started. Another story of how the trainer had challenged two of the other members, and she was next, but oh, were their pokemon tired. Could nice little Brittani spare a max potion or two? They weren't that expensive, and only one or two would be fantastic.
Brittani cut the boy off. "No." She snapped. "That's against the rules. And don't think that just because I'm small and look around your age -- which I'm not -- that I'll cave in." The kid took a step back, shocked at her response. Brittani ran a hand through her hair and sighed. "Sorry. Can you, uh... Just wait a second. I need to heal my pokemon."
She ran to the back again, leaving the kid wide-eyed and frozen in place, to heal her six pokemon, and turned her head. "But I'm still not giving you anything." She yelled over her shoulder so he could hear her.
