ANGELA BELLE SMITH
Bored by the same outbreak as Bete had, Angela knew no better place to spend the day sunbathing than Viridian Forest; it was quiet, there weren't many trainers, and the ones there usually stuck to the main path of the maze-like forest; therefore, she stuck her self back into the deeper part of the woods where she wouldn't be bothered by human life. Many Pokemon in the forest were unevolved, and at first glance, this girl looked simply like a Sceptile, therefore many Pokemon tended to stay away form her. However, there were some trainers whom, when they noticed her tail hanging down from a distance, thought that she might actually be a Sceptile, and try to approach her and maybe throw an attack of some sort or have their Pokemon attack her. She just prayed that they weren't of the fire-type variety.
Angela managed to find a suitably decent tree near the back of the forest that shown light through the tree types; Angela, being a grass type morph, learned soon after her transformation that she could preform photosynthesis and absorb sunlight for food and nourishment, making it possible for her not to have to forage for food or to have to go into human civilization in order to get food for herself. Bete, however, was a different story; he had enough energy to sometimes skip the process she had to go through, and often found things such as berries and leave to eat to where his "trainer" wouldn't have to do so her self. It was nice, however the times where she did need to find food for him, he was quite crabby and often threw fits and rages if he didn't get any food. Which was the down fall of not using the sun for nourishment.
Speaking of the little monkey-like Pokemon, he seemed to be enjoying himself; while his trainer was sun bathing, he was occupying his time by playing with the other Pokemon of the forest; while on the forest floor playing around in the grass, he had unconsciously lured a few bug types here and there, and was now playing a game of "magic", which basically was making a leaf appear and disappear without them understanding how he did it. [Angela, however, knew his secret; he merely hid it in his already green fur until he needed it again. And he wasn't too happy of her finding that out, either.] He wasn't attracting too much attention, however anyone passing by, if they didn't notice his trainer's tail, would be lured by the sight of all of the bug types gathered in on place. That was Bete; make strange thing appear out of nowhere. What a magician.
Although an often good Pokemon, she was surprised that the Pansage hadn't angered any of the bug-types that he was playing with; the small Pokemon had a bad habit of doing that, and if one of the Pokemon around happened to know a bug-type move, Bete might not win so easily. Which was why Angela was so aback from coming here in the first place; both she and her Pokemon, sadly, had a weakness against bug-type pokemon, and she was afraid that, with her luck, Bete would anger a flock of Beedrill into chasing and attacking them. And of course, she didn't have any types to counteract that at the moment; so basically she was stuck defenseless. Although she dis-liked fire types, she could see where many of them came in handy; mostly in places like this. She held back the thought of ever wanting to get one, however if she wanted Pokemon that could protect her, she would need Pokemon of all sorts.
Angela mentally agreed as she shifted in the tree, that she was bias on the sort of picking Pokemon; she favored grass and bug types most of all, even though she had a weakness to one of those types. She also favored water types for their resistance against fire types and the liability to defeat both them, and, if they were able to learn any ice type moves, dragon and flying types as well. Any other type, she couldn't really see her self getting; she was afraid of getting burned by a fire type, she was a afraid of heights and she thought that a bird type might eat her, ruling out a flying type. Any ice type wouldn't be much help in the winter months for warmth, and would loose it's power during the warm months; many dark types won't listen to people like her without any badges. And Psychic types...... Well, minus the ones like Hypno, they were alright, she guessed.
She couldn't help but now lying awake at those thoughts with so close to getting a nap; she knew that she had to create a really good team in order for them to protect her, but with so many types that she didn't like, that didn't leave her with much variety. At this, the morph gave a sigh; she didn't feel like bending over backwards for a lot of types she didn't trust, and many pokemon within those types she didn't know much about; she would have to go to a library for a lot of the information on them. And to tell you the truth, she didn't like going to human civilliazation in the first place. Giving a sigh as she blew some hair out of her eyes, she had to think; her tail began waving from side to side like a metronome, gaurtenteed to attract some attention; however she was barely paying attention to what she was doing as she thought.
She didn't know anyone she could go to to ask them these sort fo questions; and she didn't feel like going up to just a random stranger either; with her luck, she would either freeze up and just stand there like an idiot, or they wouldn't know a damn thing about Pokemon. Or, with her incredible luck, it would turn out to be both. Time wasted was time horribly spent, as she thought. Well, great; what would she do now? She didn't know how to catch a Pokemon right, and she was sure that one wouldn't just walk right up and join her; that would be a marical within it self, really. She didn't have that kind of luck, let's be truthful; her life has been pretty terrible so far, and for it to take a sudden turn around for the better was highly unlikely. Besides, who was she going to meet that would change her life, anyway? Arceus?
She highly doubted it.

Raina had lived in Viridian city all her life, so she knew the forest rather well. To be honest, she wasn't fond of the majority of things in there. For the most part, it was bug types. Caterpies, metapods.. and worst of all weedle and beedrill. Sure, she had no weakness to them being a electric type.. but then she also had no extra power against them cept for butterfree's, but they were harmless. Well, relatively harmless, unlike weedle and beedrill which were more along the poisonous lines. Human, pokemon, it didn't make a difference, poison was poison. And being poisoned was never, ever fun.... except those couple times she missed school from it.
Sure, once her secret was found out, school had been a little harder cause of all the staring.. but unlike her part marril half sister, once they all knew, she honestly stopped caring what they thought. So what, she was half pikachu. She had a tail, a pikachu's ears, and what looked almost like a very very faint permanent blush. It also came with the benefit of shocking people who were jerks and made fun of her sister or her's appearance. It wasn't like she chose to be like this, hell, her mom never even chose for her to be like this. Her father working those team rocket jerks did this to her before she was even born, messing with her and her sister's genetics while they were still in the womb and most susceptible to such changes with less problems. After meeting him, her mom was really right about him. He did belong in jail. Personally, she'd like nothing more then 5 minutes with him to show dear old dad just how good a job he did. If Aqua hadn't drug her away, she probably could have gotten enough momentum using agility or something to crash through the windows. She had wanted to try shocking a light to see if she could get it to go through, but her sister deluged her with one of those darn water based attacks. Sure, she could shock water types to great effect.... problem was getting that soaked shorted out her electricity. But then again, it also saved her a trip to jail since he did unfortunately have rights... unless the guards looked the other way.
But, what her father did to her before birth was part of why she was here in the forest now. Sure, the forest was home to primarily the bug pokemon in the Kanto region. However, there was one other thing that was here, something she got along well with. Other pikachu's. They weren't the most common thing in this forest, and rarer still you could find a pichu or Raichu. And of course like humans they did have a tendency to stare and all, but given enough time, they actually warmed up to you faster then humans. Maybe it was because she understood what they said and could reply the way they did with other actual pikachu's. Maybe it was just because she was usually nice to them, who knew. Certainly seemed like making friends with pokemon was easier then making friends with humans. Not to mention that pokemon didn't usually attack on sight. Of course there were some cause hey, that was just in there nature, but they stood a better chance in a fight then a human so she didn't feel as bad. Not every human could summon down a thunderbolt and all... which sucked sometimes cause at least then it'd be a little more fair.
She had come into the forest, trying to avoid any trainers that might be in the taller grass looking for pokemon. Sure most of them wouldn't pay attention cause mostly bug catchers came here... but you never knew, sometimes passer-by's were here, caught a glimpse of the ears or tail in the tall grass, and went right for her. Apparently some people were dumb enough to think there was such thing as a five foot pikachu. You probably had a better chance of seeing and catching mew then getting to see a pikachu that big that wasn't part human.
As she made her way through the tall grass though, it was one of those times she wished she had something like a scyther to maybe cut the grass down a little bit. Some areas were fine, but others like the current one she had trouble seeing in. She pushed what she could out of the way and stepped over and through the rest, trying not to laugh as the grass brushed against her skin and all. She didn't like wearing a lot in the way of clothing, it interfered with the flow of electricity and her movement... and was only more of a fire hazard since if something like jewelry or metal buttons were on it, the heat from getting shocked could set it a light. Learned that one the hard way. But she finally pushed through to one of the more open area's were the grass was thankfully shorter, She knew she was near the back of the forest, and looked around at all the trees, glad she was in an area that seemed to have a bit more sun shining through the treetops.
Though, as she looked around, she saw a pokemon she was unfamiliar with surrounded by some of the local bug pokemon Which wasn't unusual since some pokemon roamed, and any pokemon was usually curious or played with other types. Though, other then most of them weren't cute and nice looking, she wasn't fond of ground and rock types, any form of electric attack didn't work.. and physical attacks practically bounced off them. Only reason she managed to beat the pewter city gym leader was because she had borrowed some of her mom and sisters mothers water types to do so. Course, she ended up in the fight near the end cause, well, she didn't want to push the pokemon to hard....and was sore for the next two weeks doing so. Last time she intended to fight an Onyx. Though, at least now she knew if she just kept moving it might eventually knock itself cold and get tire out.
But as she thought back to that annoyance, she noticed something swinging from the tree. She moved closer to it, bypassing the group of pokemon curious as to what it was since she had never seen a tail like that before. She moved up below the tree, looking up and seeing the tail came from.. a girl? "Pi?" she said in a clearly puzzled tone, sounding almost exactly like a pikachu, though, the noise was somewhat absent minded do to how puzzled she was. She had never seen a pokemorph other then herself and her sister.... she had heard rumors that more may exist, but had never actually seen one.

ANGELA BELLE SMITH
Okay, so this was a problem; what would her team be if she was being so picky about types? Poison types were out of the question, since she had a terrible immunity towards them; one prick from a Nidorina would probably kill her. Ground-types.... Well, they were sturdy like rock types, and had immunity against fire types when it came to them having the ability not to get burned. So maybe having something like an Onix or a Hippowdon would do. As for electric types.... It depended. Pikachus were cute. She heard they were smart, too. However, Raichus were said to store large amounts of energy and sometimes where unable to control it. Emolgas were part flying, but they were cute and trustworthy. A Zebstrika might be big enough for her to ride on, and an Ampharos or Flaaffy were pretty cute, in a sense.
Most Normal-types were harmless to her; plus, many like Skitty or Jigglypuff were pretty cute. Plus, Normal types could learn just about any move in the book. That was a good thing, seeing as how she needed a Pokemon that could do that. Fighting types were strong, and some like Hariyama had the ability Thick Fat, which made it resistant to Fire and Ice type moves. A ghost type like Frosslass might not be so bad; at least it could freeze opponents while she tried to get away. Although, a suitable Pokemon for her might have been a Lucario or Zoroark; Zoroark were known to protect those close to them with their life, which would be nice if she could find one. And Lucarios usually had a strong sense of Aura, and could sense opponents from far away. A good thing for her if anyone was trying to sneak up on them while they weren't paying attention.
Speaking of not paying attention and sneaking up on, Angela was so deep in thought that she barely even noticed the Pikachu Pokemorph come up on her. If Bete hadn't been playing with some of the smaller Pokemon of the forest, then he probably would have alerted his trainer by first screeching from surprise, and then tackling the girl and wondering how she became half Pikachu. Hearing a soft "Pi" sound, Angela was so startled that she her self made a screech, before nearly falling out of the tree. She was lucky that when she felt her self slipping from the tree branch she was in, she was quick to grab a nearby branch and swing her self up onto the next sturdy one; which was down below her of course. How embarrassing, a Sceptile Morph almost falling out of a tree. That would have made her look like an idiot; Sceptile were supposed to climb in trees with ease, not fall out of them.
At first, when Angela looked down to ask the "Pikachu" why it had startled her, she thought that she was seeing things; this Pikachu had a face that resembled a human, and the Pikachu was much taller than other Pikachus she had seen. Wait a gosh darned minute.... That wasn't a Pikachu at all! Well, not exactly. More like a Pikachu-Morph. To the other morph, it would have looked as if Angela was making faces at her; at first it was startled and confused, then it was even more confused. Angela knew that there were other Poke'Morphs out there, she just didn't know that they started making them with smaller sized Pokemon; the ones at the lab were mostly human sized or human-shaped, or bigger than a human so nothing would happen to the human being turned in particular. But a Pikachu? There was nothing wrong with that, sure, but wouldn't that hurt? Or at least make her shorter?
Meanwhile, right before this happened, the small monkey pokemon was playing magic tricks still with some of the bug types, when he heard his trainer screech; oh, what now? Due to Angela's screech, a lot of the younger instantly turned and scattered; and the ones the couldn't. such as the Kakuna and Metapod, merely used Harden in order to defend them selves from what ever was going on. However, Bete merely gave a huff as his attention veered towards his trainer in a slightly upset way; and was instantly turned to surprised to see a yellow figure with ears and a tail. Whoa! Curious, and forgetting about the friends that had just ran away from his trainer's screeching sound, the Pansage swiftly moved over to where the girl stood, and promptly tugged on her shoes. [He isn't that tall, considering his species.]
<"Hey hey! You're not a Pokemon! Why are you here! Shouldn't you be hiding so no one will catch you like my trainer?"> he asked towards the new girl, then turned and looked up to his trainer with a smirk. <"You weren't [supposed to] fall out [of the] tree, silly! [You] look funny [now], how come [you fell] out of [the] tree?"> Instantly he began screeching and jumping up and down, which Angela instantly knew that it meant that he was laughing at her. Grumbling, the morph stood up and wobbled on her feet for a moment, before taking a jump off of the branch and landing easily on her feet on the ground. Quieting, the Pansage turned back towards the Pikachu morph and said, in a low voice, <"[Don't be] surprised if [she doesn't] talk to you. [She] doesn't [like] talking to people. She's scardy-cat.">
Instantly he began laughing in his own little way again, again making Angela make a face at him, however she said nothing to the girl in particular, nor her Pokemon; it was sadly true that she didn't like to new people, and was slightly freaked out by the fact that the girl was a Pokemorph as well; although grass types have a resistance to electric types, she was still stronger than a normal human being, as was Angela. It was just the fact that she had abilities and powers as did Angela as well.

Raina watched as the strange poke'morph nearly fell out of the tree. Strange because, well, she was unfamiliar with that pokemon type. She knew all of the Kanto ones, a few from johto, but not much else beyond those. Though the screeching sound forced her to fold her ears down and try to cover them. Most humans could barely tolerate the noise, but her ears picked up the sound better, so it was far far worse. "kaaaaaaaaaaa" she wailed at the ringing sound in her ears, falling down to her knees as if to try to get further from the sound above. She looked back up towards the other pokemorph and her head tilted to the side sightly as she looked at it looking at her. The other pokemorph made some odd faces towards her, Raina blinking at her and looking slightly puzzled by the others faces. It reminded her of when you saw some pokemon like haunter who just did goofy faces for any number of reasons.
Then again, maybe it was because something like her was... abnormal, even by pokemorph standards. From what she had heard, it was usually larger pokemon used in the process, but then again, the normal process from what she heard was that they used pokemon as big as a human or that were close in shape. But that was because they were using people who were already born and of certain ages. She hadn't even been born yet when everything was done to her, so perhaps it allowed for something smaller like a pikachu to be used without any negative side effects... ok, well, less of them. She wasn't fond of being a giant lightning rod in storms, even if getting struck barely phased her.
Raina turned her attention though as she felt a tugging on her shoes and looked to see the strange pokemon that had been entertaining the others. She listened as it spoke, but it took a couple seconds to actually translate it to english in her head, or well, closely translate it. All pokemon could talk to one another, but there were slight differences between each, and she was unfamiliar with this pokemon to boot. Put her with a pikachu or something from that family and she can tell you word for word.. something else shes been around, not quite as good but close, but this.. this was probably hit or miss.
As far as she could tell, it was asking why she wasn't hiding like his trainer, and something about her not being a pokemon. Which made the question pointless, because she wasn't a pokemon so why would anyone catch her? Or was there something else behind the statement. She winced slightly at the screeching that seemed to be the new pokemon laughing, her ears still sore from what must have been his owners screech, though, looking at it's owner as she jumped down, and then back to it as it said something about her not talking.
"I"m not sure why anyone would try to catch me once they see I'm not really a pokemon... and the couple times they still tried I just batted the pokeballs away..." Raina replied in plain old human english, seeing as it was a bit more instinctual to speak that then any pokemon language.. save for pikachu's cause well, she was part one. "Besides, they'd have to be pretty fast to catch me" she added with a smile, and confident voice. Before she turned to the other poke'morph. "Sorry if I startled you, my names Raina." she said, the same smile and a slight giggle as she finished, her hands clasping behind her back. Even if the other girl did not like to speak or couldn't or was scared to, she was still going to try to be nice and friendly.. that's just who Raina was. She understood that most probably weren't that used to interacting with anything remotely human. Her and her sister had their appearances hidden as kids by their parents, but once the secret was out, her sister kept up trying to hide it, but eventually got used to just being herself. Raina had just been adamant this was who she was and didn't care at all what anyone else thought of her appearance or thought she was a freak. Maybe in the grand scheme of things she was normal and they weren't, who knew? She was herself, anything else was someone else... and she was going to be herself.

ANGELA BELLE SMITH
<"Too fast? Too fast?"> Bete was quick to respond to the Pikachu Morph, obviously hyper from meeting a new person; it wasn't that often that they ran into someone and Angela didn't scatter in fright. Having a phobia of other people could be a downer on those like Bete who yearned for other people's attention. <"I'm fast, too, you know! You know, you know what? We should have a race, a race sometime, we should!"> the little monkey informed, screeching as for the third time he jumped up and down.
Bete was a strange little monkey, which was why his nickname fit him well; Bete meant silly in french, and it was obvious how silly he could be. However, it was too bad that she didn't have the french word for mischievous as well; she almost felt like telling the other morph to watch her backpack, because she knew that when the girl turned her back, he would most likely try to steal something form it. He'd done so before on Angela on several occasions ever since she's found him. Although a adorable, he could be evil. She was hoping to find a Leaf Stone soon, or at least save up enough money to buy one, so he would evolve; she could guess that when he evolved into a Semisage, she would hope that he would settle down a bit. Yet with her luck, he probably wouldn't.
"Sorry if I startled you; my name's Raina."
At first Angela hadn't realized that the girl was talking to her; it seemed that Bete was working hard to get her attention. And sometimes Bete was hard to ignore. As for the startling part; well, Angela thought that it was more her fault; she should have been paying more attention. She was lucky that it was someone nice and not someone - or something - that would have attacked her or something terrible like that. Yeah, it was more her fault than it was the girl's. It was simple, yes. and it made sense, in a way. But, due to fear of the girl - Raina - denying the claim of her scaring Angela not being her fault, Angela dare not say anything; she didn't want some kind of fight to break out. So, in introduction, the Sceptile Pokemorph said in a quiet voice that sounded almost inaudible;
"M-my... Mmmmm-My name's A-A-An-Angela."
Her head was hung down so there was no eye contact from the other Poke'Morph; her hands were behind her back, and they seemed tied so tight together that even a crowbar couldn't tear them apart. Even with her head down, her eyes were darting from place to place, as if she was trying to find an escape route as if something bad happened. She kept shifting nervously from the ball of her feet to the ball of her heels, rocking back and forth. She was lucky that she was too nervous to move; Raina might have thought of her to be a little weird for suddenly running off without even saying a goodbye. Although Angela thought that would have been rude, she was almost contemplating that idea; at least she wouldn't have to act so strangely in front of this other girl.
<"Angela, Angela! Her name is Angela!"> Bete started again in a sing-songy voice, jumping up and down to obviously get Raina's attention again; if his trainer wasn't going to talk, then he would talk for her! <"And my name is Bete!"> he practically cheered as he gestured to himself with a grand old smile. "I means silly in french! My trainer taught me that! Do you know any French?">

Raina laughed a little at the monkey like pokemon's suggestion of a race. "Sure we can race." Raina said with a smile, not minding the idea of one. It was rare she actually walked anyway, usually she ran everywhere. Though her ears twitched slightly as the other pokemorph spoke so quietly it was actually hare for Raina to hear, especially with the stuttering. Raina's head tilted slightly as she looked at her, slightly puzzled at how she was acting. She wasn't even trying to make eye contact and had her hands behind her back. Was she depressed or something? She seemed it the way she spoke quiet and hung her head, she could only guess why though. Either way, Raina didn't get how people could be like that (and was oblivious to the idea some people weren't outgoing).
Her attention went back to the pokemon as it said it's trainers name in a sing song voice and jumped up and down. then introduced itself, then said it meant silly in french and asked if she knew any french. "Well the name suits you, in a good way" she said with a smile, before adding "and I don't think I know any French". She hadn't really learned much on foreign languages. Being born this way thanks to dear old dads experiment, she had had trouble at times mastering English. Several times she had had to redo assignments and tests because she had written them in something only she... or a pikachu, would understand.
Though, a slight grin crossed her face as she thought of something she found amusing. "Well, I don't know about you Bete..." Raina said, suddenly moving and in the blink of an eye moving behind Angela and wrapping her arms around her as she said in an energetic voice "but I think Angela needs to stop being all mopey and have fun with us." Even if you were to tell her she wasn't outgoing or anything, it would have only changed the words. Raina was all about being outgoing.... and ignoring rules of personal space, even if it made things incredibly awkward for her or anyone else. Then again.. she enjoyed making things awkward at times.
(oc: sorry its kinda on the short side ><)
