.) For Pokemon who evolve at certain levels, they evolve at those levels. However, the owner can choose to wait a bit before evolving it, for reasons such as getting a new move faster than if it evolved. The longer waiting to evolve it without wearing an Everstone many decrease the chances of the Pokemon actually staying unevolved, however.
.) Pokemon that evolve with stones, are to do as such: evolve with stones. You must either find the stone while journeying with your character, or save up money to buy one. The Pokemon has to come into contact with it, and we ask that you roleplay out it's evolution.
.) Pokemon that evolve during trade without items are simple: just evolve them like any other Pokemon. However, we ask that the minimum level for evolving such Pokemon be at least 35.
AFFECTS: Haunter into Gengar, Boldore to Gigalith, Kadabra to Alakazam, Gurdurr to Conkeldurr,Machoke to Machamp
.) There are some Pokemon that need an item and be traded in order to evolve. This one is simple: You just need to find or buy the item, give it to the Pokemon to hold, and then level it up with it. A mod will more than likely post after the Pokemon has leveled up a little saying the Pokemon can. Remember, though: like stones, the item disappears once the Pokemon evolves, so you can't get it back after that.
AFFECTS: Schyther into Scizor, Clampearl into Huntail and Gyroybss, Seadra into Kingdra, Electabuzz into Electrivir, Magmar into Magmortar, Rhydon into Rhyperior, Poliwhirl into Politoed, Slowpoke into Slowking, Onix into Steelix, Porygon into Porygon2 and thus Porygon-Z
.) Happiness evolution is one of the newest things in evolution. There are a few Pokemon who need this, and as such, we will make is slightly easier. If a Pokemon needs to evolve via happiness, then we ask that they need to be in - as in, with your character outside of their Pokeball and staying with them and following them around - for at least twenty [20] posts, and in each post, you need to say that the Pokemon is there with you by weaving it in there with you as you are doing so. If said Pokemon faints in battle, the last post where it is fainting will not count, and more than likely, you'll have to deduct one post off the happiness meter. We ask that you keep track of this in with your Pokemon's info. If your Pokemon is wearing a Soothe Bell, the time is halved. Make sure that you roleplay in the correct time of day, as well.
.) If your Pokemon needs to learn a move in order to evolve, then simply train it until it learns the move, and then it will be able to evolve whenever you want.
.) If your Pokemon needs to hold an item in order to evolve, than make sure your Pokemon is holding and at the correct time of the day. It will need to level up while holding them item before it can actually evolve.
.) There are Pokemon who evolve when certain stat conditions are met, such as Wurmple into Cascoon and Silcoon and Tyrouge into Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Hitmontop. It is the owner's choice as to what the Pokemon evolves into, so you may choose, no matter the stats, what it evolves into.
.) Pokemon who evolve during certain times of the day must evolve during that time of the day. This shouldn't be too much of a problem, though, as it is the player's choice as to what time of day it is in a roleplay thread.
.) After all this, there is one more rule: if you plan to evolve your Pokemon after it levels up in a battle, however your Pokemon that you want to evolve ends up fainting, then please don't evolve it, as in most situations, a fainted Pokemon cannot evolve. You'll have to level it up again without it fainting before it can evolve.
