CASEY MAY JENNINGS
***
NAME: Casey May Jennings
NICKNAMES: Casey, CC, May
GENDER: Female
AGE: 13
SPEICES: Human
SEXUALITY: Bi-Sexual
HOME: Rustboro City, Hoenn
OCCUPATION: Trainer, with some Co-Ordinator on the side.
TYPE OF CHOICE: Water
THEME SONG: Raise Your Glass - Pink; We R Who We R - Kesha; Fireflies - Owl City
APPERANCE: Casey is normal compared to many girls her age. She stands at about five feet seven inches, taller than most but fairly reasonable by far. Her hair is cut short due to her dread for getting something stuck in it, the brown mess ending just below her chin, so that was at least she can pull it up if she needs to. Her eyes are a deep blue and always curious, as her brother used to tell her as children. Her skin is slightly tanned due to running around near Rusturf Cave and the Rustboro Woods most of her childhood, and she doesn't hate a single day of it. If you're lucky enough to spot two things, you'll know that one, she has a strange tattoo on her upper right forearm. Her mom let her get that, only because it's not real, but it'll stay on there long enough. Second, on her left leg, starting from her ankle to her inner thigh, she has a scar that is usually noticeable when she wears shorts.
You'd think was she crazy for the clothing she usually wears. An orange tank top under an orange sleeveless jacket she usually wears for a top, amazing, really. In one side of her hair, a clip with two stars - one white, one blue - she keeps in memory of her brother, since he gave it to her. On her left wrist, she wears very patriotic bangles, just as colorful as her hair clip. Her pants usually consist of baggy shorts, that end just above her lanky knees. She's very skinny, or so she's been told, and this makes her want to wear skinny cloths often. Many of which are too revealing. Her tennis shoes are basic running shoes that she received from her father; colors of black, white, and orange, dash them in many places. Around her neck, she wears a pendant that is a Mystic Water. Why she wears one, no one really knows why.
PERSONALITY:
Outgoing. Just mildly would put this out of place, really it would. Case is often the one to try to start conversations, always approaching people first even though many of whom would rather her leave them alone. She will always be like this, however, and always tends to put her self out on a limb in order to get someone's attention. No, seriously, once she literally put her self out on a tree limb in the Pettalburg Woods in order to get someone's attention. A strange thought, right? Yeah, she likes trying to make people notice her. Trust me, if you're going to stick around her for a long while, you're gonna have to get used to a thing like that.
Adventureous; Ever since getting to play in the woods near her home, she's loved exploring. She often recalls memories of playing games with friends during free time, of the adventures they used to make up, of how they were great trainers and beat everyone in sight. They were lucky some of the Wurmple and Shroomish were nice enough to play along. They would always get into all sorts of trouble, too; falling out of trees, causing havoc. The one reason why Casey has a scar on her left leg; she accidentally fell out of a tree when she was younger. That didn't stop her from creating adventures with her friends, though, and today, she looks forward to some of this things coming true.
Fire-Heart; A nick name her brother often gave her when ever her "true" spirit came out. Even though she favors water types over fire types, she has a fiery personality to her. She loves to battle, and is always mean-spirited about certain things. She does not favor loosing, though will accept defeat if she feels that it would be best to do so. She has a knack for starting "fires," or fights or anything else that may be unnecessary at the moment. Her favorite colors end in the light spectrum, with yellow, red, and orange most all of them. [Though she's painted her room auburn before, trust me she has.] Hence the name Fire Heart, for her rage and personality always burns with that of the sun, and cools down with the rising of the moon.
Tom Boy; If anything, May is anything but a girl. In fact, many think that she should be a dyke due to her tom boyish ways. She doesn't mind getting dirty, and if she hasn't taken a shower in a few days, well then, she can last a few more days without one, too. She hates gossip, and has never liked playing dolls once in her life. Those things that rich people play with are much better to blow up into pieces than to dress up like they're real people. Use your money on something better than lifeless plastic things that will never have feelings and you'll never become true friends with. Yeah, she's just that way.
Pokemon-Friendly; Casey grew up around Pokemon, and her parents and family had nothing against them, therefore she learned that Pokemon were more friends than slaves or anything less than a partner in life. She doesn't believe that she's there "master," nor does she believe that they should call her as such. She hates Pokemon abusers and poachers, mostly people who just use Pokemon as tools of war and think of them nothing more than something you can throw away when you're finished. Pokemon are life-long partners, and when treated with love, will do anything you ask them to, no abusing or beating required. She will not have a Pokemon do something she wouldn't do, and often will do things before they do to show how easy it is. Which isn't good, really, considering that she gets her self hurt in most of the process.

HISTORY: Normal, is what you would call Casey's childhood and life growing up. Nothing special really happened to her during her birth; she was born to two loving parents, Jakob Scott Jennings and Ashely Marie Jennings, and a little two year old boy waiting quietly outside with his aunt, named Zachary Taylor Jennings. The Rustboro hospital where she was born had been bust that morning, like always, due to the population that resided there. Her father worked at the near-by Pettalburg Gym, since he favored Normal-Types over Rock and Ground, though they lived in Rustboro due to her mother working for Devon Corp. and getting cheap rent in the building where they stayed for the better part of their lives. Or at least, Casey did, anyway.
Brat, her brother often called her as a child, mostly because she whined when she wanted something, and usually got it from her mother or one of the helpers that worked at the building in where they stayed. She never asked for much, though, since often everything was locked during the day due to her parents knowing that she'd tear everything up if it wasn't. A bad habit for the little girl. However, her brother entertained her while he was not in school, which was a good thing, considering that if he never did, she probably wouldn't look up to him the way she does now. It was not babysitting or anything; it was just being an older brother.
By the time she was three, her brother in first grade and usually gone for the better part of the day, it was her mother's Delcatty that had to watch her. Often the pair would go to the flower shop at the edge of town to buy berries with the girl's grandma or aunt. Casey learned to love Pecha Berries due to this. She also learned to love nature, because nature perhaps was never going to be there forever, so you should love it while you could. She did, of course, and even loved the Magikarp that swam in the pond near by. She thought they were cute, and were amazed at what kind of creatures they become. Once, she visited a lone one that was often strayed by it's school for a whole three months, always bringing it food and stuff for it to have. Then one day, it evolved, and to many people's amazement, it merely cuddled up to her. Her father caught it, and was usually visited by her at the near-by ocean where it was released.
Her first and second grade years were as normal as could be, really. She made friends quickly, and often they would be caught playing at the Pettalburg Woods or near the Rusturf Tunnel, not getting into too much trouble, but enough to have a Pidgeot stalking them at all times. The reason for this was probably Casey falling out of a tall tree and receiving a large scar in the process, though she had said plenty of times that she was fine. Her father obviously thought that she was not, however, and usually had a guard watching over her. Her brother often did this, though he didn't mind; he seemed to enjoy the rough housing his tom-boy sister seemed to do most of her time. He also taught her a lot of things about Pokemon that he learned in school, and often put it out in the real world as well.
By the time she turned eight, her brother had already gone through a couple years of trainer school, and thought that he was ready to become a Pokemon Trainer like his father had once become. They greeted him off, and within the next day he sent word from the Oldendale Pokemon Center that he had received a Treecko as a starter Pokemon. Casey couldn't help but gloat about her brother to her friends, even when in the next couple days he slowly made his way back home. He had mostly been training, and had caught a couple Pokemon along the way; he had thought that a Wingull and a Poochyena weren't all bad by standards. He spoke of trying to catch a Ralts, though it fled before he could throw a Pokeball. Of course, after training a bit more, his Poochyena evolving due to a battle between father and son, he battled the first Gym. His Treecko evolved during the process, and he won.
After a day, he left, his sister chasing him all the way to Pettalburg Woods until she could go no further, hugging him good-bye for the last time for quite a while. He would often call and write, and tell of the Pokemon he encountered and all of the battles he won and lost. Case was proud of her older brother, and longed to be like him. When she turned eight, she, too, entered in Pokemon School, to much of her friends dismay. There were a few she knew there, though few she often hung out with. Her brother often told her to take it easy, both in letters and by voice, that things should never be rushed. That was not her ways, though, and often she got in trouble due to her active nature.
By the age of almost ten, she was rearing to soon join her brother on his journeys. The championships were soon to become real, and her brother was almost close to beating her to the last badge; two more to go, he said in a phone call. It is however tragic that near the end of her schooling years, something sad and strange happened. When a letter never came home form her brother, her parents thought that he might have just forgotten to send one, or that it had gotten lost in the mail. But it was every week that he called the house, hoping to hear his families voices. Casey waited by the phone, listening for the call from her brother. She waited all night, and woke up on the couch with the phone in her hand, waiting. Perhaps a fault? For two months this went on, and his family was starting to get worried. Why was the boy not paying his family a visit?
It was at that moment that Casey knew something was wrong. He brother wouldn't just ditch without telling someone, let alone his own family knowing. It was then that Casey found out her mission: to find her brother, where ever he may have been. Of course, that was not her parents plans, for once she turned ten and wanted to start her journey, they held her back, fearing for their child's life. So, Casey unhappily finished three more years of school. A sad thing for her, considering she was all ancy and irritated. This gave her time to think of where her brother might have gone, though, and perhaps why. When her three years ended, she happily ventured out to get her starter, in hopes of finding her brother.
