Personality: Torch was the Pokemon Albel received from Professor Birch. As a Torchic, she was incredibly slow and had a hard time competing with Poochy, Albel's first and favorite. As she evolved, Torch became an important part of Albel's team, often using her to offset Poocchy's weaknesses. As the oldest female, Torch has a motherly disposition, often babying and fussing over the other Pokemon and her trainer. However, she is extremely ruthless in battle.

Personality: Poochy has an ego bigger than his Trainer's. Poochy believes he do anything and defeat anyone, much like Albel. Unlike Albel, Poochy is a coward. If faced with larger or stronger Pokemon, he will Run Away. Poochy is Albel's first Pokemon, so he feels a sense of superiority over the other Pokemon and acts as the leader when Albel is away. However, Poochy loves being petted.

Personality: Despite being the most physically imposing of the group, Iron is very docile and meek. He often acts as a doormat to other Pokemon, much to Albel's chagrin, and dislikes battles. Iron's aware of his strength, so whenever he does battle, he tries to defeat the opponent as quickly as possible, so he can snuggle back into his safe Pokeball.

Personality: Desert is extremely hyper. She loves to have fun and run around and generally get on Albel's nerves. She never takes anything seriously so she often toys around with her opponents. She needs to be entertained constantly or she will get moody and sulk. Like her Trainer, she has a habit of laughing when extremely happy, except Desert chuckles darkly....

Personality: Rage is a very angry Pokemon. Before he was caught by Albel, Rage was always mocked by all the other Magikarp for being weak, useless and the most pathetic Magikarp to ever use Splash. When Albel caught him, he though Rage was weak and useless and was about to throw him back into the ocean when Rage Flailed and knocked Albel out. When the boy came to, he had a new Pokemon! Rage likes to crush his opponent in any way possible, and tends to rampage when he gets angry (which is quite often).

Personality: Nox, like his namesake, happens to be quite lazy. His favorite things to do are sleep and eat. He hates to battle and would rather be eating. When battling, Nox likes to slowly defeat his opponents. He is content to poison when with Cross Poison or Poison Fang, then flutter around aimlessly as the other Pokemon suffers.

Personality: Arbok is very competitive and cruel. He likes to make his opponents suffer before he utterly crushes them. He is haughty and stuck up, believing he is better than everyone else and never follows orders. Which is one of the reasons Albel has him in storage rather than out in the field. When Arbok was an Ekans, he tried to bite Mightyena, it didn't work.

Personality: Machamp loves to duel, spar, battle, anything to show off his strength and bulging muscles. Machamp happens to be a ladies' man, always flexing and showing off for the lady Pokemon. Machamp was captured by Albel when he was a puny Machop trying to show off to a lady Numel.

Personality: Croagunk is the trickster. He loves playing pranks on wild Pokemon, his PokeMates, other Trainers and Albel. He's always snickering quietly and mocking others. He's very intelligent, which he likes to rub into Albel's face and enjoys coming up with Nasty Plots. He harbors some ill will towards Albel for winning their show off in the Safari Zone of Sinnoh.

Personality: Absol is very calm and composed. She often acts like the voice of reason among her fellow Pokemon, not that they listen to her anyway, but it's the thought that counts. She is often used in tandem with Gardevoir in order to balance out their weaknesses. Absol let herself be caught to get out the perpetual rain of Route 120.

Personality: Gardevoir is very loyal to Albel and the other Pokemon. Like Absol, she's the voice of reason, but the other Pokemon listen to her more due to her type advantage. Gardevoir is very playful and likes to tease her trainer and PokeMates. Albel protected her from a gang of Poochyenas when she was a weak Ralts. She's followed him ever since.

Personality: Despite her cute and innocent appearance, Chimecho is very morbid. It probably stems from her former home being Mt. Pyre, the resting place of deceased Pokemon. She has a strange habit of chiming morbid hymns and of watching Albel or the other Pokemon while they sleep.

Personality: Togepi is an adorable little child, when he's not getting into trouble. He loves to make the older Pokemon panic and trip over themselves to make sure he's safe. He does love them, he just has a mischievous streak that's being nurtured by Croagunk. Was received as an Egg from Professor Elm on Albel's first trip to Johto.

Personality: Igglybuff is the baby of the group. She's cute, adorable and horribly spoiled. She thinks she deserves everything and uses her Cute Charm to get her way. When this doesn't work, she'll Sing them to sleep and Pound the offender into oblivion. What's such a cute Pokemon doing with the likes of Albel?!

PERSONALITY: Poppet the Shuppet is just like the other members of it's species, she likes to feed off of Albel's vengeful emotions which, not surprisingly, is plentiful. Especially towards Dragon Pokemon and Dragon-type trainers. Poppet is very very clingy, she refuses to stay in her Pokeball out of fear that Albel will abandon his pokeball somewhere on the road and she'll never see him or her pokefriends ever again.
