APPERANCE: Rune has White hair with turquoise eyes, and relatively fair skin. Though, for his age, while he usually acts mature, only stands at a little over 5 feet tall, and only about 80-90 pounds, making him small, and usually leading to the confusion that he’s a kid. His physical build leans a little towards muscular, seeing as he is active, however he doesn’t really work out. AS for clothing, it doesn’t really matter if he’s in the gym or outside it, he wears the same black and white robes, since it’s his preference (and hopefully so people WON’T think he’s a kid). Although the bottom one is long sleeved, it’s actually quite light and cool, Seeing as Rune feels more comfortable in the gym’s climate (which is around freezing), then anything else. Occasionally, he’s seen with a sword on his back, a green sash holding it in place, which he practices with at times wen theres free time not set aside for other things.
PERSONALITY: Rune is typically cool and calm even under pressure, just like what you’d expect of someone who’s preferred type is ice type pokemon, or ones that can use ice type moves at least. He isn’t overly outgoing, but also not completely withdrawn from society. He tends to be cautious, and constantly observes his surroundings, and may at times seem just a little paranoid. This being because he expects his uncle to show up behind him or some other goon sent by him. Also, his gyms layout is simple in that while there are some trainers there one may have to fight, unlike others with there switches, teleporting pads, and other gimmicks that take up time. Something he finds annoying and absurd. Although he doesn’t show the trait often, he can actually be short-tempered.. But it usually only applies to certain situations, and mostly people mistaking/treating him as a kid, or making jokes about his height.

HISTORY: Rune was born to two loving parents, or well, they would have been had there really been the time. Before he was old enough to remember, his father was found dead, and his mother missing. So he, and his older sister had to move in with his uncle to live with. IT was fine for the first couple years, but when he was ten, and she was 15, they came home from school one day, and the last thing he could recall was something over his mouth before blacking out. It was sometime later that he and his sister woke up in a cell with another woman… one they found out had been their mother, but her hair and eyes were drastically different then the pictures they had seen. But she knew things only their mother would have known. IT turned out his uncle had killed his father while trying to kidnap her, and take him as well. It was a couple weeks later the started to run tests on Rune, and other things. Though, the process was much further along with his mom, who slowly and rather painfully) was turned into what may called a poke morph, though, by the time Rune left, the process was still incomplete with her.
One day, several pokemon and other morph’s broke out of the cages. Rune and his sister couldn’t find there mother while trying to escape, so went with what their mom told them to do. That if they had the chance to run, and run as fast as they could. The pair did, but with several people pursuing, Rune’s sister told him to go on ahead and that she would catch up, because she was further then Rune in the process and started to actually show signs of pokemon like abilities. He was reluctant to do so, but was in the end forced to do so when another fleeing subject was rushing by, and did as his sister asked and drug him away. Rune ended up split off from the girl, and went to the point that his sister had said she’d meet him, but he waited a few hours, but she never showed Though in the process, of waiting, he met what would become his first pokemon, a Glaceon that had also escaped the lab.. He then went to the police, who checked the place out, but it had been packed up as if no one had ever even been there. They thought he was making it up till they asked his name. One of them pulled up a photo on a computer of a missing person’s report that was filed, and he was puzzled by their dumbfounded looks. When he inquired, why they looked at him like that, one of the officers pointed to the picture on the screen, then to the mirror, which Rune quickly figured out why. His hair had been brown, and his eyes a dark green, but now his hair was white like snow, and his eyes a turquoise color.
They asked if he had any family, to which he replied his only family was either captive to the man that did this to him.. Or the man that did this to him. And that even if he did have any other family this is what family had done to him, he decided to bypass needing anyone, and go out with a pokemon on his own since he was old enough. Having Glaceon by his side made the pewter city gym a breeze, and while things were rocky at first since it hadn’t had the best treatment by humans, it warmed up to him after the first gym battle, seeing as till that point, it had been more Rune caring for it. HE spent the next year or two going across mainly Kanto, collecting the gym badges, and taking down the elite four at a fairly young age. Though, he passed on the title of champion, not wanting to be bothered with all the attention it usually drew. Though, when he heard that Giovanni, team rockets boss had been tossed out of Viridian’s gym, he ended up taking it over at age 15. Unusual, yes, but he had beaten the elite four, so he was to say the least the most qualified to do so that was guaranteed to not be a criminal. He completely renovated the place, and seeing as for the most part he preferred ice pokemon like Glaceon, set it up more towards ice types, though, two of his pokemon weren’t really of that type. Glaceon and Snowrunt were the two remaining pure ice types of his team, since the others had been let go or given away (of the pokemon’s desire to, not just because), Wartortle which was technically a water type but new some ice based moves, and then scyther and Pidgeot, who over time had gotten used to being around him and the ice types, so are no longer very cold in the gym or equivalent tempratures, though, ice based attacks still work the same on them (they are after all colder then the gym’s air).
Rune has taken time off once in a while to go to johto, and earn badges there, and to look for his older sister. Another thing he does in his free time almost border lining on obsessive is trying to figure out what exactly his uncle was up to. He got the whole thing of poke morphs, but what had he been trying to make him nto? And how exactly was he doing it and could it be reversed? Either way, he figured it was at the very least an ice type, and short of laten abilities turning up, it had only cause the change in hair color.. And possibly his small stature (which he stil hopes to grow out of and get taller).
