TYPE OF CHOICE: Naturally, she enjoy’s pikachu’s the most, with Pichu and Raichu right behind it. As well as a general affinity for electric types (she is one after all) After that she has a preference to baby/cute pokemon and eevee (which it and its evolved forms generally fall under the cute category). Not to say she doesn’t like others, she merely has a preference to those.

[/li][li] SpidersAPPERANCE: As far as build goes, Raina’s slim and muscular, only weighing about 100 lbs and standing at 5’7” but still has rather feminine curves. She has skin that isn’t too fair, and has some color to it, being near flawless, other then each of her cheeks one can see a fairly faint red circle on each, but you have to be fairly close to really notice. And she has dark brown eyes. What’s most noticeable though, is the color of her hair, her ears, and her tail. Her hair is a medium shade of yellow, similar in color to most pikachu’s. She also has a Pikachu’s ears, which there added length puts her over 6’, her ears matching her hair in color except for the black tips of them, and she usually keeps them angled a bit unless she hears something. She has a tail that when brought up against her back, pretty much comes level with her head, or can reach the ground, being all yellow like the ears and hair, except at the base with the brown section you find on most pikachu’s tails at the base. Her wardrobe mainly consists of yellow outfits that are enough to keep her properly covered, but have some freedom of movement, and isn’t too covering, not being very fond of actually wearing clothing. She typically wears tops that come down past her chest, and maybe cover the midriff but leave her stomach and all exposed, and have short sleeves, and always wears fairly tight and short shorts. She wears no jewelry, and only if going some place very cold would she wear anything heavy and that possibly had metal, finding that if she discharges electricity, the metal becomes very hot, burning her or the outfit (and on one occasion, causing it to burst into flames).
PERSONALITY: For the most part, Raina is very out going and energetic. She’s learned to not care for the most part if people talk about her appearance. She was born this way, and she likes it, if others don’t, too bad for them. That’s just how she views things. She’s nice enough and helps people if she can, but is also the last person you want to upset, since impulse control has never been one of her strong points. If she sees someone being mean to a person or pokemon, she usually steps in and says something but if she sees physical violence, she just flat out attacks without warning. She also tends to be rather affectionate with people she knows well, prone to running up and hugging them or curling up against them, even if they don’t want to. When it comes to kids and pokemon, she’s always playful, even when little kids yank her tail and ears (which she isn’t fond of but hey, they don’t know any better). She’s also very protective of her pokemon, and never makes them do anything she wouldn’t do herself, including battles.

HISTORY:
Raina’s history starts during the period her mom was pregnant. She had fallen for an older man who was a well known scientist, and while he made frequent trips to Johto, stayed in the Kanto region. Though, little did Raina’s mom know he actually worked with team rocket. When he found out his wife was pregnant, he spent a bit more time at home, though it wasn’t till about 6 months in that she realized the time home was spent drugging her drinks so he could give her injections, only finding out when the drugs wore off early and she saw the needle in her stomach. He tried to explain it, but she wasn’t dumb enough to buy his story. So he switched to something more potent, and dragged her to a laboratory he had hidden near-by, where she learned why he went to the Johto region so much. He had a wife there, and he had brought her here on a trip, when she apparently found out everything too, but it was a couple weeks more till they found out what he was doing, both women were pregnant, and he was using the opportunity to test genetic manipulation of human and pokemon DNA on an unborn child. Needless to say neither woman was happy (not that they were anyway), and it was far more of a fight when he tried to give them the injections.
When he felt it got close to when the children would be due anyway, he got a bunch of team rocket grunts to help him deliver the kids and gave both women drugs to induce labor. Though, what he didn’t count on was that all those new faces drew some attention, especially from Raina’s mom’s family, who had been sure he was behind her vanishing. Short after Raina and her half sister were born, the police broke the door in and arrested everyone except the mothers and there new born children.. But her father was apparently very clumsy on his way to the station, though he tried to say it was the police that did it to him. Though, the judge probably wouldn’t have blamed them anyway for it when he saw the photos of Raina and Vera. Raina with her blonde hair, and the tail and ears of a pikachu, and her half sister, with blue hair, and a marill’s ears and tail. Unfortunately, her fathers experiments had been a success… he just couldn’t now get to the phase of trying to make them weapons. The other woman’s family disowned her so long as she kept her “freak child” so she stayed with Raina’s mom, and decided to take on her name to try and start a whole new life. Both women took great care of their kids and loved them, though did what they could to cover them up so other kids and all wouldn’t notice. But that didn’t stop it from getting out when a boy shoved Vera and her hat came off. The boys started to laugh, which strted Vera crying, and made Raina angry. She tore after the one that shoved her, her own hat coming off as she tackled him, though electricity ran across her cheeks at the red spots, and soon went through her hands and shocked the boy. He managed to weasel away as he got shocked and the boys ran off terrified of her. It was only when she went to help her sister up and she accidentally got shocked that Raina felt the tingle of electricity through her body and especially over her cheeks.
That day when she got home, she wouldn’t let either of their mothers (who by this time were partners), slide away from the questions anymore as to why they were different. It was then that she got at least a slight explanation, since she was only 7 at the time on everything. On her there father was a bad man, how he had used there own pokemon for the experiment as well, why they looked so different then others, why Raina could understand what her moms and other peoples pikachu said and Vera the same with Marill’s, everything. Both women then started to toy the idea of home schooling the girls, but Raina refused so Vera followed suit. It was a few weeks before Vera was as comfortable as Raina to do so, But Raina walked into school the next day in a t-shirt and shorts, nothing to cover her ears or tail like all the other days. People made fun of her, but she ignored them as long as they didn’t cross the “freak” line.
Things went as smooth as possible for her the next few years, and gained a bit more control over her new natural abilities, but one thing still bugged her, which was not knowing why other then from her mom as to why her dad did it and all. So when they were 16, her and Vera went to visit there father who was behind bars for the rest of his natural life. When they asked and all… he answered that they were tools, and weapons… that they were meant solely to be used by team rocket. And that beyond that, they were nothing but freaks. Which ended the conversation with Vera dragging a screaming Raina out of the visiting room. From that point on, the two agreed they were going to avoid team rocket like the plague, or take them down, but never, ever even think of joining them. Raina was the first to set out to become a trainer at age 17, wanting to travel, and test her skill, as well as collect what pokemon she could. She was also determined though that since she was part pokemon and allowed to, that she wouldn’t throw any pokemon into a fight she wouldn’t fight herself.
